SDADA Scholarship

The main focus of awarding scholarships from this association centers around the fact that member dealerships are having difficulty recruiting employees, especially when it comes to technicians. Therefore, as in past years, we will be awarding scholarship funds only to individuals that are currently working, or intend to work, in a SDADA Member’s dealership.

The SDADA is now accepting scholarship applications for the 2024–2025 school year under these new rules. The application and instructions are attached and can be duplicated as needed; these documents are also available for download from the SDADA website. In 2024, there will be seven (7) one-year nonrenewable scholarships awarded in the amount of $1,000. All successful and unsuccessful applicants will be notified of the recommendations made by the selection committee. We will notify recipients by July 1st, and the funds will be delivered to the educational establishment in August.

If you review the application instructions, you will find there is an application requirement for a sponsor letter that is signed by a dealer member of the SDADA. In the letter, please include the position the applicant currently holds or will hold at a SDADA member’s dealership.

As always, if you have questions, please contact me or your SDADA Office.
